The Old Shore Station in all its dereliction.
Early morning stretches
Blackthorn and cuckoo pint. Not finished yet, but this is working better spatially and compositionally I think. The ultramarine darks need toning down a bit still.
Great article in today’s @guernseypress by Shaun Shackleton on @rosanne_guille_art ‘s trip to Alaska with Artists for Nature. 🌿
This is pulling together a little better to capture that strange eerie evening time just before darkness. I need to tamp down the yellow green more in the foreground.
Thanks to @rosanne_guille_art for the best hand crafted early Christmas present! It just about fits my bawheid but is super soft and just delectable colours!
WIP - Cuckoo Pint amongst the Blackthorn.
Some detail of slumped greenhouses.
I’m feeling quite emotional about the start of this painting for some reason. Can’t quite fathom why yet, but it feels different.
Back to this one in the studio today after a month’s break to look at it afresh. Plus my persistent companion who hates being shut out from the action and rather enjoys spying on passers-by from the studio window.
