Unpacking more work from @collective.split at the @gatehousegalleryec ahead of next Friday’s private view.

I’ve been having a lovely few days working out the hang for the Response exhibition at the Rectory in St Pierre du Bois. It’s very evident why the parish is called this as it has the most beautiful old trees in the valley below the church

Woohoo! The work is here in Guernsey after a weekend of travel! Now the unpacking begins!

It’s so lovely to have a whole afternoon in the studio for a change! Kitty has commandeered my painting trolley so I’ve covered it with an old towel to keep him from becoming multi-coloured this week. I’m really enjoying working on

A bit of time to paint again at last, and some experimentation with found materials. The Nazi stonecrusher is lit with pearlescent light to both highlight and combat its darkness with the painting. More layering to integrate the materials needed. Man
