Small paintings on wooden panels. These are taken from drawings done when walking at the site of Fort Doyle on the North East coast of the Island and a few photographs. I wanted to create a visual map of the area responding quickly to things seen. #w
Some more small works that are about moving through the landscape in a specific site up near Fort Doyle and the derelict shore station of the lighthouse nearby. It’s a barren area as the winds whip up from the north east so nothing much in term

A wonderful second hand treasure that I found recently. I love the delicacy of colour the photographic plates, and like Phyllis, I’m not that certain of my botany. I really hope this dedication was written with love and isn’t as mansplain
